EV Grants

There are currently two grants available to qualifying individuals from The Office for Low Emission Vehicles. These are both available through online application.

Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) Grant

Environment and Power Technology are government OLEV EVHS approved installers and approved for the installation of various domestic EV charge point manufacturers.

Providing the domestic user has off road parking suitable for an electric car, the EVHS enables domestic users to receive a £350 grant reduction of on the cost of the buying and installation of the charge point providing the installers are approved.

Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) Grant

Environment and Power Technology are government OLEV WCS approved installers and approved for the installation of various commercial EV charge point manufacturers.

Government funding is available for a maximum of 40 EV charge Point socket outlets located within an organisation’s sites at a cost reduction of £350 per EV charge point socket outlet.

An organisation can apply to redeem a voucher code for the government’s website which is valid for 4 months. This code can then be passed on to the approved installer who, following completion, will then submit the voucher on the WCS portal.
