Innov8 – EV Charger Installation

Innov8 are a business software and IT support company based in Stockport. Innov8 approached EPT Ltd with the requirement for EV charge points at their office space. This was to help Innov8 demonstrate their commitment in reducing their customers and employees carbon footprint impacting on climate change. In 2020, following discussions of need and budget, EPT Ltd successfully installed 1nr ROLEC pedestal incorporating 2nr 7kW EV charging socket outlets, which are utilised every day.

The Solution

In 2022, due to employee and customer demand, additional EV charging outlets were soon required, so a further 2 ROLEC pedestals were installed providing 3 additional 7kW charging socket outlets.

The Outcome

EPT Ltd.’s electrical works were inclusive of design, installation, commissioning and testing of the EV charging pedestals. Additional to the electrical elements, EPT Ltd.’s building fabric team installed the concrete plinths and the associated trenching to accommodate the cabling ducting.
