Amazon - Air Conditioning

Amazon is without a doubt one of the single largest ecommerce brands in the world. With warehouses located throughout the UK to support their business infrastructure, Amazon approached EPT, Amazon required a maintenance partner and EPT were fortunate enough to win the contract. 

Issue

EPT secured a maintenance contract with Amazon to maintain the cooling equipment in their Main Data Framework (MDF) rooms across the majority of their UK warehouses. These rooms are the lifeline of the business and control the communication and data between the warehouses. 

Our Approach 

With such importance placed on this equipment, we implemented a twice yearly maintenance schedule. The schedule has been designed strategically to minimise the impact on the business by carrying out maintenance work during times when activity is naturally at its lowest.  

Our engineers used their extensive training to work intelligently on the close control systems to ensure that temperature and humidity is always optimal. They take a clinical approach to all work carried out to ensure that the best possible outcome is achieved.
